How many grams are in one tola of gold?

In India, one tola of gold is traditionally 11.6638 grams. Jewellers and calculators use this standard conversion when you enter weight in tola.

What is the difference between 22K and 24K gold price?

24K gold is considered pure gold (99.9% fine) for pricing. 22K is 22 parts gold out of 24, about 91.67% pure. The price per gram for 22K is therefore roughly 22/24 of the 24K per-gram rate, plus any making or wastage charges at purchase time.

Does this gold calculator use live gold rates?

How is Indian gold value shown in US dollars?

Whether you need a gold price per gram calculator or you are estimating jewellery value, the core idea is the same: use weight in grams and the correct rate for your karat (purity).

Value (₹) = weight in grams × live price per gram for selected karat

Grams: use weight as entered.
Tola: 1 tola = 11.6638 g (Indian standard).
Ounce: 1 troy ounce = 31.1035 g.
Kg: 1 kg = 1000 g.
